Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Transfer Program
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT) Transfer Program is a degree-completion curriculum designed for students who have earned a qualified Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in an industrial or technical discipline.
Coursework completed as part of the eligible AAS degree serves as the foundation and fulfills up to half of the major requirements for the BSIT program. This program offers a flexible curriculum that can be tailored to align with their AAS and their individual career trajectory.
Students may complete the BSIT degree through traditional, on-campus instruction at East Carolina University (ECU) or choose from five concentrations available fully online. The online concentrations include Information & Cybersecurity Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, Distribution and Logistics, Bioprocess Manufacturing, and Industrial Management.
The BSIT degree enhances career advancement opportunities, increases earning potential, and prepares graduates to assume leadership roles within the industrial and technical sectors.
